With its origin as a local plywood distributor, Akati has since emerged as a leading wood panel exporter in Singapore that supplies to many countries spanning across Asia, Australia, New Zealand and even the islands in the Pacific, Indian Oceans. Akati’s range of products includes plywood, medium density fiberboard as well as particleboard. Apart from the foregoing, Akati also stocks a range of products such as blockboard, laminated board, veneer, paper-overlay, PVC board, solid wooden door and MDF moulding.
As Akati maintains a full range of products, this allows Akati to supply a wide range of products at any one time to meet customers' urgent demands. In addition, having its own warehouse in Singapore gives Akati a more competitive edge, and allows Akati to leverage on Singapore's strategic geographical position and excellent shipping facilities to export its products to many countries.
In the year 2003, Akati became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dominant Enterprise Berhad, a Malaysian company which is today public-listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. Since then, we have grown from strength to strength.
